Holger

Holger discovered the joy of movement in his childhood. With it he expressed himself primarily in martial arts, his old passion, which he still cultivates in various styles today. Through Capoeira, he got the idea to try dancing too. After a few experiments with different dances, he first discovered his great passion for couple dances tango.

He came across Zouk by chance and was fascinated from the start. Till today it is among the dances he performs that most arouses his passion. He has been learning Zouk since the beginning of 2012 and has used every opportunity to develop and improve. In addition to regular hours in Bonn, he began to drive to festivals early on and also took advantage of other opportunities to train.

He continues to use as many opportunities as possible to further develop himself as a dancer and as a teacher. Among other things, he has already participated twice in the MZouk Intensive Week of the Spiral Dancers, was one of the participants in the first Zouk International Teachers Course at Dance Alegria in Rotterdam and twice completed the extra program for teachers at the Zouk Austria Congress. He has also took part in workshops, festivals and smaller local events, as well as taking private lessons with various teachers.

Through his experience in martial arts and in various dances, he has developed a great awareness of the human body, which he uses in his dance as well as to bring his students closer background. As a dancer he likes to play with different kinds of music and styles
