Nathalie & Salah-Eddine
Nathalie was introduced to ballet at the age of 4 years. In addition, she was trained in Modern, Jazz and Tap Dance. She was part of several performances and musicals, amongst others at the Theatre of St. Gallen in Switzerland. When in 2017 she discovered Zouk, it was clear to her that this is what she has been looking for. She started to train intensively with Eric Fehr, collected knowledge from several renowned teachers in Switzerland and elsewhere in Europe.
In 2018 she went for the first time to Brazil to train and to learn from among the best teachers in Fortaleza and São Paulo. In Zurich she was teaching Zouk and Lifts and Tricks with Eric Fehr with whom she already has been giving workshops at one of the wonderful Navy Zouk editions. Ever since, she is passionately exploring the wisdom of movement, connection and playfulness in Zouk and loves to transmit the insights she gathered through her never-ending journey as a dancer§
Salah-Eddine started dancing Urban Dances and Hip Hop at the age of 14 in Morocco. In 2011, he discovered his passion for Salsa in France where he joined Omele Dance Company and performed on several big congresses throughout Europe. 2013 he became a Latin Social Dances teacher. When in 2015 he came back to his home country Morocco, he contributed to build a big social dancing community in the whole country. 2018 he opened his school where he is teaching Afro-Latin Social Dances until now. He was always fascinated by the fluidity and the wide spectrum of possibilities in Zouk.
Since he met his partner Marina, he has been training and evolving a lot in Zouk. He loves to add to it a flavour of African movement material. Besides of a very strong technical background, he brings with his 10 years of experience in teaching, a very solid pedagogy and is dedicated to the investigation and exploration of Zouk and the methodology of transmitting
