Ania & Kássio

Kassio: He started couple dancing 16 years ago in a public school in Manaus – Brazil, and has ever since worked his way up, training his dance and teaching methods with some of the best zouk teachers of brazil. Being a studied physical education teacher he has methods beyond the standard steps teaching, and with 10 years of Zouk teaching experience in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguai, Chile, Portugal, Greece and Germany, he has now helped Hamburg´s Zouk scene to multiply since his arrival.

Ania Bul is a dancer who is never bored with dance and is constantly trying to improve her knowledge and skills. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and a Master’s degree in Choreography and Dance Theory and spent the next 10 years practising the skills she had learnt in many dance schools. She also completed a course as a professional contemporary dancer and Contemporary Dance Instructor. She has trained in many different dance techniques – from classical dance technique, through contemporary dance, jazz, to social dances – salsa, bachata, zouk. In her free time, she practices yoga and seeks new ways to consciously work with her body and express herself.

She has had the opportunity to perform in many interesting projects of contemporary and jazz technique. She has performed many times with the dance revue Tancerze.pl, Warsaw Zouk Company and Vera Ladies Project. Currently, she co-creates and performs with the Zouk And Beyond group.

Initially, she conducted classes and workshops on her own. For 3.5 years, she worked with Renato Veronezi, conducting workshops in Poland and abroad. She also works in the organisation of dance festivals.
