Winston Texel (Winston Zouk Ibiza) aka DJ WinX has his background in music from an early age. Playing in bands and performing R&B music, happily since 2007 he is totally in love with Brazilian Zouk.

Winston’s track record includes organizing socials, parties and festivals, organizing the Ibiza Zouk Dance Festival and founder of Brazilian Dance Arts and the Oline DJ Zoukables Community. He is part of the Management Team of the Brazilian Dance Festival Holland (BDF) and core team member of I Heart Zouk Radio.

WinX plays frequently at Zouk Socials, International Events, Congresses, Zouk Weekenders, Zouk Marathons and has developed a very all round music taste over the past few years. His DJ style can be explained as versatile, weaving-in many different musical genres within a smooth natural flow. In his sets you will find a wide variety of music regardless of genre, style or tempo.

Songs with soft beat and (mellow) melody, highly energetic songs, vocal-focused songs, songs with strong beat or more experimental tracks. He is a DJ for the people, known for his energy, creativity and good taste in music. He understands the connection, emotion, musicality and movement of the different styles of Zouk dance and he loves to explore the music that perfectly suits the atmosphere of the moment, always trying to create a magical atmosphere!
