DJ WinX

Winston Texel (Winston Zouk Ibiza) aka DJ WinX has his background in music from an early age. Playing in bands and singing R&B music. Happily since 2007 he is totally in love with Brazilian Zouk. Trained in Amsterdam by Masters Gilson Damasco and Natasha Terekhina as well as abroad, he travels for congresses and participates in almost every Zouk party.

He is an organizer of Dutch and Spanish Zouk Socials, founder of Brazilian Dance Arts, the Ibiza Zouk Dance Festival and coorganizer of the Amsterdam Brazilian Dance Festival (BDF) and recently Holland Zouk on Fire. He is the creator of the Online DJ Zoukables Community and core team member of I Heart Zouk Radio.

WinX plays frequently at Zouk socials, congresses, international festivals and has developed a very allround music taste over the past few years. He understands the connection, emotion, musicality and movement of the different styles of Zouk dance and he loves to explore the music that perfectly suits the atmosphere of the moment, always trying to create a magical atmosphere.

In his sets you will find a wide variety of music regardless of genre, tempo, style or date of release. For him it’s all about the mood and energy. He is a DJ for the people and tunes into the atmosphere of the venue and the dancers’ energy. WinX will be a great contributor to beautiful parties.
